I became a mom before I became myself at the age of 20

I’ve never had the luxury of being an independent, “selfish” adult.

My decisions are never just my own. They always need to benefit the most people in the house.

Sometimes I resent that. Feels like my life has never been mine.

It’s hard being a mom.

Your body changes, how you spend your time changes, the way people look at you changes…

Nothing is ever the same again but in so many ways you’re still that scared, insecure kid you were before.

I wouldn’t trade it but it’s not all peaches & cream.

There will be moments that will make you question everything and there will be moments where you’ll know that you were dealt exactly the hand that you needed for your journey.

Going through hard moments doesn’t mean that I’m unhappy or that I wish things were different but today, as a mother of three, I feel less guilty about the bad days.

Big games have big challenges.

They also have big rewards
